Parabens, SLS and silicones are some of the major culprits that
can lead to dry hair, breakage, progressive hair thinning and hair
loss and change the integrity of the “good hair.”
Parabens (identified in the ingredients as words ending in
“ben”) are chemicals that are used as preservatives. They are
man-made and not naturally occurring. They mimic estrogen
and DHEA, which are hormones that we lose as we age.
